Valerie Isaac - President

As the President, she is responsible for setting up association meetings, the financial well-being of the association, and overseeing contracts (i.e.: attorney, security, maintenance, etc...) The President is also responsible for reviewing all sale/lease applications and authorizing liens and foreclosures.

Laura Sotomayor - Vice President

The Vice President is responsible for architectural review, parking enforcement, and violations, enforcing HOA rules and penalties, monitoring and quality control of landscape and irrigation companies, keeping a log of all complaints and attempting to remedy any issues or concerns, and communicating bi-weekly reports to management. The Vice President also Inherits powers to act in the absence of the President
 

 

Luis Caballero - Director of Communications

The Director of Communications is responsible for maintaining community satisfaction, communicating with residents of the community, handling general complaints by residents, and assisting the other members of the Board of Directors as needed. 

Nadine Frances - Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible for creating financial reports and maintaining financial records, managing vendor payments, budget reviews, and quarterly financial reviews.

 
 

Cathy Diaz - Secretary

The Secretary is responsible for keeping the minutes at meetings, monitoring security guard activities, monitoring the community and reporting suspicious activities to the guard, ensuring the front gates are functioning as designed, and communicating weekly security reports to the board and management.

At Villa Portofino West we do our best to take care of our community, and to make living here a comfortable experience. See the projects below that the Board of Directors have accomplished, and that are currently in progress.

 

COMPLETED PROJECTS

- Plant new grass throughout the community

- Replace pool area fence

- Prune trees

- Replace all grass damaged

- Extended the fence damaged by hurricane Irma on the back side of the community

- Changed the gate system

- Cameras throughout the community (the first stage started in front)

- Cleaned drains for the first time since the community was built in 2006.

- Trimmed the trees for the first time since the construction of the community in 2006

- Repair irrigation System (all zone working properly after 3 years without working)

- First stage of community lighting ( started at the pool area and in front).

- First Christmas party for the children and their parents of VPW.

- Repair all damaged sidewalks throughout of community

- Repair and remodeling of the pool

- Hired pool monitor to monitor the pool area during the pool hours

- Changed management company

- Repair damaged pavers throughout the community

- Cleaned drainage to prepare for hurricane

- New taller fence around the front (people jump over the current small fence)
